Call Me

I'm continually pondering getting a wireless phone. After a trip to San Francisco's Virgin Megastore opened my eyes to prepaid service, I've been salivating over getting customized ringtones and text messaging. So I figure I should ask people's opinions of wireless phone services?

I should also mention that I don't have a credit card, so regular phone plans might not be a good idea. Prepaid seems to be the best way to go for me, but I was just wondering if anyone has any other ideas about the various plans that are out there...

I was looking into prepaid services myself for my mom. I wished Sprint had something entry-level, but sadly it seemed the best bet was Verizon and its Free-Up plan.

I hadn't even thought of Virgin Mobile, though. Looks cooler, if not comparable.

I believe AT&T Wireless has a prepaid plan...

Pardon me while I post an update on Vivi's behalf: She went with Virgin Mobile!

Still thinking about pre-paid myself, I'll be reading her tales of the Party Animal (a.k.a. the Kyocera 2119b)!

I just got the 2119b for Christmas and I like it. Getting text messages through email is pretty cool :-)

Does anyone know where I can get ringtones and stuff for free?
