I Love the Nightlife (Dave Atell Overture)

Charlie Memminger, the Star-Bulletin columnist, mentioned last week that Dave Atell is bringing Insomniac to Honolulu. Dave's advance man asked Memminger for suggestions, and Memminger passed the solicitation to his readers.

I sent the columnist a suggestion that Dave check out the guys who drive the beach sweepers at Waikiki at night. That was my one good idea. I pretty much drew a blank from there, but I'm sure someone here could think of something to email Charlie. If you've seen the show, you know the kind of thing Dave would get a kick out of, so I'd love to hear other possibilities.

Wow, I love that show. Too bad I'm not a night person. Perhaps that's why I'm pretty much addicted to it. My only suggestion is heading into Wailana Coffee House for breakfast when he's done with his midnight forays. I'd suggest wandering around Hotel St. but I'm not sure how safe that would be.
