Random thought at 2am: does anyone remember the music used for the Suzuki Grand Vitara commercial a few years ago? It's the ad with the guy driving all over Oahu to get Shave Ice and other goodies. I emailed Suzuki Hawaii but they never replied.

While I'm asking... can anyone tell me the name of the music used for the Volkswagen commercial - (ukulele instrumental)?

It's definitely a Pure Heart/Colon piece.

I can even hear it in my head, but I don't remember the name of the track. I have the CD at work, and can tell you in about 40 minutes... unless someone can beat me to the answer!

D'oh! Turns out that it's not on the album I have ("2"). I must have... erm, acquired it elsewhere.

Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure it's "Olinda Road," which is already a popular Hawaiian instrumental (Hapa does a version as well).

Anyone else know?

I'm think it's "Step by Step' by Colon. If it is indeed the same commercial I'm thinking of. Somebody else uses the Hapa version of "olinda Road". Channel 2, maybe?

Jen, you're absolutely right. It is "Step by Step" that's used in the VW commercial.
