Cheesecake!

I've heard talk about it, but looks like it's finally official. They're going to open a Cheesecake Factory in Waiks.

The first time I visited the Cheesecake Factory (the one on Long Island, NY) was Valentines Day 2001. We waited a total of three hours before we got seated. On regular weekends the wait is roughly two hours. The food is great...but I don't know if it's worth the two to three hour wait. You guys have any thoughts? Yay or nay?

Wow, what a coinkydink. I just went to the Cheesecake Factory in Seattle a couple weeks ago, that was my first dining experience to that particular resturant. Extremely crowded on Friday nights. Too bad I was too stuffed from dinner to thouroughly enjoy the cheesecake afterwards. Ah well...

I visited the Cheesecake Factory in Dallas last Nov. Similar to Sin, the SALAD was enough to choke a horse, much less the entree. Cheesecake afterward?? NOT A CHANCE!!! Next time! =)

Feh! Now if I heard there was a Junior's opening in Honolulu, I'd be excited...

Speaking of cheesecake - can anyone recommend the best places in Honolulu to get some now? Especially in Downtown, since I'm working on site for a couple months.

I think it was Grilla's that had a good review of their cheesecake--it's on King St., Ewa of Macy's.

OK. Just got back and finished off a piece. Smooth, substantial - cheesecake done right. I will definitely make repeat visits.

I saw the Cheesecake Factory building sight on Kalakaua Ave. and looks like it's coming along. I cant wait, I love cheesecake.

The Waiola Bakery in Kapahulu has a really good cheesecake. It's not like other cheesecakes, it comes in a loaf but it's really good. I brought one to the Hawaii Stories Picnic in Feb 03.

im a local in sf and a few friends went to go work there. it is almost the worst waiting job in history..they all quit within a month of opening the place...go buy a local made cheesecake and take it to your favorite locally owned eatery instead...keep hawaii nice for me when i come back...

It's a funny thing..when we have visitors from Hii here they all want to go to eat at The Cheescake Factory or ClaimJumpers... guess it's the portions or the gimmick-try...I really don't think it's for the food....and they make fun of me when I say all the guys I work with think L&L here on the mainland is awesome!!!!

I was in Hawaii for three weeks in March. The day I flew home I ate at The Cheesecake Factory on Kalakaua Ave. It was a wonderful experience! Can't wait till I go to Hawaii next March!
