craigslist: honolulu

Woo-hoo! Now there's a craigslist: honolulu. Need I say more? I've been waiting for this to happen for years. That is all.

Man. I have no idea how many times I've suggested a Honolulu site to those guys. Hell, even my bud Burt stoked the early flames in The Honolulu Advertiser. Finally! Can't wait to see what turns up.

Just discovered there's a Honolulu group for the Freecycle project, too.

So, what are they for? Are they community forums, or online classified pages, or what?

Weird stuff.

I heart craigslist. It's done so much for me... helped me get rid of crap I didn't want, buy crap that I wanted, found a job, found a community.

It's all that and more... but is as strong as the contributors make it. Hope you all use it well!

Funny that the most ads right now are in personals, though.

Those casual encounter ones are especially interesting.

While I like freecycle and craigs list, for getting rid of and finding free stuff I like www.abcfree.com.

Both services are all about keeping useful goods out of our landfills, so the
earth is the big winner. I like ABCFree because it allows you to make a "wish list" and you just get contacted when something that you are looking for
comes up in your area. Also, ABC gives a portion of its revenue to schools so kids are also big winners.
