If you've never been to Kauai, all I can say is this: Go to Kauai. It will change you. Or at least change your expectations of beauty. Oh, and I guess I should also say this: When you go to Kauai, bring lots of compact flash cards. You'll take hundreds of pictures. And occasionally you'll get one that looks like this...

You did good, Beth! And what spectacular photos. I haven't been to Kauai in years, and Jen's never been. Clearly we need to add it to our '40 by 40' list (not that we're making any progress on it, but, it's fun to dream!).

And July 31 works? Awesome. We're on, then! I'll put up a hui-specific post soon!
