Yes, babies do rock, Ryan, and as I have rapidly learned, they also like being rocked.

Manami is not turning out to be a big crier...just the occasional focused communique that she would appreciate attention of some sort (diaper, food, hug).

However, her sleep schedule seems to be shifting in rotation right now. Some days, sleeping most of the night, others, most of the day. Spending a lot of time rocking her to sleep right now :-)

So have the other parents in this hui have experience the same shift in perspective towards keiki in general (not just my own :-) after theirs was born?

I'm suddenly far more aware than ever before when they are around now -- watching them and watching out for them.
