Chapter 1

“Gy’Well, Team Twenty Five reports they are aboard the space ship.” said Ty’hill.

“Thank you Ty’hill” replied Gy’Well.

“Team Twenty Five is aboard that space ship?” demanded Loo Tan Wun “What are those bunch of misfit outcasts during there. Their mere presence on that space ship brings dishonor to the Triskewura and its crew.”

“Loo Tan Wun.” replied Gy’Well “The Outcast are there under my orders to investigate that disabled space ship and they were prepared to go.”

“Gy’Well” said Loo Tan Wun “You may be in command of this star ship but do you dare mock me?”

“Mock you.” replied Gy’Well “about what?”

“By you calling Team Twenty Five, the outcast because I just called them that.” replied Loo Tan Wun.

“Actually you called them misfit outcasts.” said Ty’hill

Loo Tan Wun turned and looked at Ty’hill and said, “You little one be silent, this matter does not concern you.”

“When it involves Team Twenty Five or the Outcast it is my concern.” said Ty’hill.

“I do not like the tone of your voice little one. You sound like you want to challenge me to combat.” said Loo Tan Wun.

“No, that is not my intention Loo Tan Wun.” said Ty’hill.

“Enough, both of you.” said Gy’Well

“Protecting your kind from the likes of me.” said Loo Tan Wun who turned to Gy’Well “You Fodani lack the will to fight in combat, that is why you need the services of the other races to do the fighting for you, you need the likes of us, the Sidone to do the fighting for you.”

In some ways Loo Tan Wun was right, the Fodani Collective star ship Triskewura carried members of various races. Each of the races on board the Triskewura contributed to this mission. The Fodani provided the star ship, which is why Gy’Well was in overall command of the ship and the mission. The Sidone with their huge physical size did most of the ground combat, while the mission of the Triskewura was surveying planets they ran into more than one occasion encountered worlds where the local inhabitants were not too happy to see a bunch of out worlders snooping around their planet and it was the Sidone who did the fighting. The other races like the Coovee, Flun, Kesbun, Loturn and the other various races from the Dicon Galactic Empire and the inhabitants of the Arcevar star system filled in the other positions and tasks that the Triskewura needed to perform it’s mission.

Loo Tan Wun looked at Gy’Well for a while and said, “However protecting the weak from those who will do harm to them is an honorable trait.”

“I am glad you see things in that light Loo Tan Wun, because I was protecting you from Ty’hill.”

Loo Tan Wun looked at Ty’hill. He and Gy’Well were roughly the same size in height, but Loo Tan Wun was much wider and more massive than Gy’Well, but Ty’hill was smaller and less massive than Gy’Well. He could not figure out what this small Fodani was capable of doing. Loo Tan Wun looked at Gy’Well again and Gy’Well said to Loo Tan Wun “The last time a Sidone, oh two Sidone attempted to mock Ty’hill and to disobey her lawful command, well the outcome of that encounter was not a pretty sight.”

Loo Tan Wun looked at Ty’hill and then looked at Gy’Well again, Gy’Well then said, “Besides Loo Tan Wun this is not the first time you referred to Team Twenty Five as outcast. They too have found out that you have continually referred to them as outcasts and their team leader has requested to me that.”

“That one, how dare she!” interrupted Loo Tan Wun “I do not know why she has been allowed to live, she is a coward, she has decline challenges brought by Sidone in our lawful matter!”

Gy’Well sensed Ty’hill was going to speak but he held up his hand and said “Loo Tan Wun, first of all the she came to me and requested the Team Twenty Five be referred to as “The Outcast”. I felt that this was a reasonable request since other teams and units aboard the Triskewura have names for their teams. And if you agree I would like to honor their request, you seemed comfortable with using that name for that team any way so I do not see any problem with that. Secondly the Commander is not a Sidone but an Arcevar Noveren, they like Ty’hill are smaller than you Sidone. As such combat between the two of you is grossly unfair, and no honor whatever the outcome would be gained from such a battle.”

Loo Tan Wun looked at Gy’Well sensing the Fodani leader was right and bowed his head in the positive if not in a reluctantly manner.
