“Are we ready?” asked the commander
“Are you sure this is a good idea Kar?” asked Tul Wun.
“It is De Kar not Kar and why are you asking me for, it was the commander’s idea to come here not mines.” replied De Kar.
“Tul Wun was asking me De Kar.” added the commander “It’s just that my name almost sounds like yours.”
“Oh” said De Kar.
“To answer Tul Wun earlier question, we have to do this sooner or later.” said the commander.
“But why now?” asked Tul Wun.
“We need to hone our skills as functioning as a team and this seems like the opportunity to do so.” replied the commander.
“I am prepared to do battle for the honor of the team.” said Ton Gar
“Thank you Ton Gar but that will not be necessary,” said the commander “this is not meant to hone our battle skills but rather our ability to blend in with the surrounding environment.”
“And you think this environment will work for us?” asked Par Too
“It should be able to accommodate all of our varied physiologies.” replied Ky’Mod.
“Any body got any questions before we proceeded.” asked the commander.
Par Too, Ky'Mod, Yut, De Kar and Ton Gar all nodded in the negative, Tul Wun on his part folded both sets of arms around his mid section and said "The seven of us are going in there to blend in?"
"That's the plan, something wrong with that?" asked the commander.
"Well do you not think a group like us consisting of a Flun, a Fodani, a Sidone, an Arcevaren, a Coovee, and a couple of unknown races still yet to be determined will just blend in to the surroundings, some one will bound to notice us."
"Well that is why we need to do this, now would be the time to do it and evaluate it after this training exercise is done." said the commander.
"This is a training exercise?" asked Tul Wun
"That is what I told Ty'hill." said the commander.
"And she believed you?" asked Tul Wun
"Oh I hope so." replied the commander
"What happens if she found out that we are here?" asked Tul Wun
"She would not be pleased with the commander for not inviting her to come along with us on this training exercise." said Ky'Mod
"Before Ty'hill can beats us to it, let us do it, Ky'Mod if you please." said the commander.
Ky’Mod touched some thing on the wall and part of the wall opened to reveal another room filled with beings from the Arcevar star system moving around in the room, they did not notice the Outcast who were on still on the outside.
“I heard what they are serving today.” said Par Too “I always wanted to try it but never had the chance to try it.”
"Well Par Too now is the time to try it, before Ty'hill has a chance to consume it all for her self." said Ky'Mod
“I am concerned about blending in.” said De Kar “Won’t they notice us walking in and taking their food?”
“The walking in part I suppose.” replied Ky’Mod “But the Arcevar Nover are the type of beings to share their extra food.”
“Well shall we team?” said the commander
“Eat, yes.” replied Yut.
