Chapter 19

Yut did not like this situation, the last time he was in a line with his comrades besides him and with his supreme leader in front of them that said leader wanted to kill them all for being failures. The latest incident at the Arcevar eating area sort of reminded him of that but the Fodani leader Gy’Well did not strike him as the type to kill failures. The Sidone leader on the other hand was not too happy with the Outcast team. He never was happy with them in the first place, this latest incident simply reinforced his feelings of the team.

“You have brought great dishonor to this star ship and you should be punished for your actions all of you.” said Loo Tan Wun who then looked at the seven members of the Outcast lined up before him. “Well what say you?”

The seven members of the Outcast looked at one another, Ton Gar pointed to Ky’Mod, Ky’Mod pointed to Tul Wun, Tul Wun pointed to the commander, De Kar for her part shrugged her shoulders and wings up for a while, Par Too and Yut just looked at the commander.

The commander spoke and said, “How harsh is this punishment?”

“Death to you all.” said Loo Tan Wun.

“Now or later?” asked the commander

All six of the Outcast team, Loo Tan Wun and Gy’Well looked at the commander.

“You mock me?” asked Loo Tan Wun

“No” replied the commander “I am just suggesting if we are going to die, let us do it style, right team.”

No one on the team responded to the commander.

“I said if we were to die, I say we do it in style, right team?” said the commander

“You want to challenge me to a duel to the death?” asked Loo Tan Wun

“Nothing like that.” said the commander

“You are afraid to die, don’t you commander, you are a coward like the time during the incident at Larbane A star system.” said Loo Tan Wun.

“Sure I am afraid to die.” said the commander

“See you are coward you even admit it.” said Loo Tan Wun

“I said I was afraid to die, I did not say anything about being coward but if it makes you feel any better to say it, I won’t complain” replied the commander.

“If you were a Sidone such a statement made by me would offended your honor and would need to challenge me in combat to right that dishonor.” said Loo Tan Wun.

“In case you haven’t noticed Loo Tan Wun, I am an Arcevar Noveren not a Sidone, what motivates me to do what I do is way different from what motivates you. So I do not care what you say about me, my team or my race.” said the commander.

“You and your race have no honor.” said Loo Tan Wun

“Not in the way you measure it and quite frankly I don’t care.” said the commander.

“I should execute you on the spot for such insolence.” said Loo Tan Wun

“I would advise against that.” said the commander “If you execute me now Gy’Well would have to send some one else on the suicide mission.”

“What suicide mission?” asked Loo Tan Wun

“The one to the space ship.” replied Gy’Well.
