De Kar and the rest of the Outcast team where in the Triskewura shuttle area, she noticed it was the same shuttle that was used to go to the space ship on the last mission and the very same one that brought her aboard the Triskewura from the planet that the Triskewura crew referred to Larbane C Four.
She had initially thought the crew of the Triskewura was responsible for the unexplained disappearance of the inhabitants of that world, a world she and her kind pledged to protect. However it seemed that the inhabitants were than capable of protecting themselves from the likes of the Triskewura crew, due to some misunderstanding that was still a mystery to her, the inhabitants drove off a team from the Triskewura that initially visited them, another team came down to rescue the first team. While the first team managed to leave, the second team was stranded and a third team was dispatched to get them.
De Kar missed the first team but managed to catch up to the third team while it was getting the second team, a brief battle against the second and third team was fought, the outcome of that battle was a draw, they did not defeat her, she was trapped in a thing she never saw before and instead of killing her they had fled on this very shuttle. With the trap still around her she managed to fly up and hanged on to the outside of the shuttle until it came on board the Triskewura. She tried to continue the battle aboard the Triskewura, injuring one of the Sidone but not killing it. She was stopped when one of the Fodani touched her and moved her a short distance in the shuttle area. This stunned her enough until another Fodani who happened to be the leader of the Triskewura came by to explain the situation to her that the Triskewura was here to investigate the disappearance of the inhabitants of the neighboring planet of Larbane C Five and the attacks on shipping to that world. The Triskewura crew were told that Larbane C Four was uninhabited so when their orbited their world and found it that was inhabited they sent the first team to check things out.
After discussing with the Fodani leader about each other situations it was agreed upon to pool their resources to solve the mystery that stuck at both worlds. De Kar wondered who it was who stopped her on the planet but not kill her. She found it was Team Twenty Five, the Outcast and it was the commander herself that trapped her temporary while they escaped. De Kar asked the commander why she spared her in the battle because if it were the commander who was trapped she would have killed her. And she was surprised by the commander’s statement.
“Look De Kar, what you did was to defend your world against what you thought were invaders and to be honest if I was in your role I would have done that too. However my task was to rescue stranded comrades, not in engage in a senseless battle with beings I have no quarrel against. All I needed to do was to delay you so that we could leave on the shuttle. I did not expect you to follow after us.”
That was some time ago but it was enough to convince her to stay on the Triskewura and to join in The Outcast to deal with their common problem.
