we drove to berkeley and there was alot of police all over the place today! in the news people are protesting this war!! all over the place! i find it wierd that people would actually stick their arms in a metal tube and have the police saw them off!!! not their arms though! but what got me thinking is this… do these people actually think that because they are protesting that the president will actually say.. okay.. i’ll stop! I… DONT …THINK …SO!!! they have to finish what they started! they cant just walk away now! so why waste your time and our taxes on your stupid protesting when the war has already started!!

okay i kept reminding myself!! dad’s birthday coming up!! dont forget to call him! and yesterday was his birthday and i forgot to call him! its been a while since i talked to him. i cant wait to go back home!

really i did! saw it half way out of the clouds! the clouds were so dark here and i swear it was a tornado! that was yesterday! and i read the newspapers today and said nothing about it! could i be seeing things?!?!
although in the todays newspaper there was an article and pic on the front page about the really big hail storm in my town! there was alot of accidents and things like that!! and guess what? i didnt see a thing! not even a drop of hail yesterday!

i remember laying in the sun without a care in the world! i would lay there for hours at a time and not ever get sunburned! now… however, i am so white living on the mainland that whenever i go back to the islands, i get so sunburned so easily! so here i am applying sunblock still trying to get a tan but i still get sunburned! lol.

i am going to oahu soon and can hardly wait! its been a whole year to be exact! it like i am in a dream every time i drive down the pali or the H-3, especially when its done raining! those waterfalls are breath taking! from the pali look out you can see my parents house!! i leave on the first week of april! and i will be staying at my dad’s house. i will however keep a daily journal while i am there and post it using my sister’s computer!

melona bars!! ONO!! i am in san fran and cant find it anywhere! does anyone know where i can get them here on the mainland?!?! also if i can order them right to my home in california! i have a strong weakness for melona bars!
