Our daily conversations involve several moments of hearty, side pain laughter! At times the topic doesn’t matter, we’ll laugh at one of my guffaws or a play on words from Lilinoe; and always something one of the children has either said or done. Lately, we’ve been having impromptu “family talent shows” that will have all of us proudly LOLing.
Early in our discovery Lilinoe gave me the label of “Funniest Person Ever.” Well, maybe I had to coax it out of her, but over the last few years I have lived up to my title. The same with my blogs, I don’t think I’ll ever earn a penny with my humor, but it’s a key ingredient in the harmony of our household, and therefore has heavy value.
The sound of Lilinoe’s hearty laughter, the giggles of Jayden, the loud chuckle of Maiyah or the burst of “ha, ha’s” from Chelsea are infectious, and most importantly soothing.
The ability for us to laugh at our shortcomings, individually and collectively has created an environment of forgiveness; strengthened our family and keep the endorphins flowing through all of our souls.
It’s just another ingredient of life that we cannot live without.

Hi, I arrived here completely by accident but I am glad I did, I clicked on NEENZ at Guy Kawasaki’s website and it brought me here. You are absolutely right not only about the endorphins but laughter, like recognition, like thanks, like a little thing that some stranger did for you that was a mountain of kindness, all of these things define our humanity and through that determine whether love is a natural part of our life or it is something we write about.
This simple observation you make about laughter is what I refer to as intelligence. I go through cyberspace in a horizontal fashion but for the large amount of time I spend online thinking about things I can’t say it any better than you guys viz:
“I don’t think I’ll ever earn a penny with my humor, but it’s a key ingredient in the harmony of our household”
I pass my blessings to you also and even though my visit here is brief because I personally seek to explore what is out there on the web and so I keep on moving what they refer to as the LONG TAIL of the blogs, but I always keep a link to the blog I visit and I give each of these link I visit a title, so my title for my visit here today is easy to name and it is simply:
AMBASSADORS OF HAPPINESS
That is who you are to me, you are the ambassadors of happiness and it was more than a pleasure because sometimes when I think my thoughts I wonder whether I should have written raw from head, but today, I have thought my thoughts, shared in yours and, you know what, I’ve have walked away a better person because good only multiples goodness.
So thank you my ambassadors of happiness for I don’t have to tell you to “live life” when you are already living it in a way that makes me feel proud of you. That is the ultimate blessing and more importantly the ultimate intelligence.
With much thanks & regard
M.

Aloha NEENZ- I’m visiting from the carnival of aloha.
I love your post about laughter! I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t laugh or make someone else laugh. I’ve always been the biggest goof of my family and making others laugh is one of my favorite things to do.
Aloha,
Sheila

Sheila:
Thank you for parking the canoe here at INFINITY. The “gift of laughter” is both cultural and genetic! So not only do you have that favorite pair of “jeans” you got great “genes” too!
ALOHA.
