Hope you're all enjoying the weekend. Matt and I are going out to Mililani to join my family in some Easter celebrations. This year I made Sarah a ballerina skirt and a pink Hello Kitty bag (yep, made that too with HK fabric) for Easter. I'm excited for her to see it, my mother says that she'll love it since she tippie-toes around the living room pretending to be a ballerina for her captive audience. Since she still can't have chocolate bunnies and gorge herself on candy, I'm indulging her imagination with a satin skirt with layers upon layers of pink tulle. Auntie Jenny is all for dress up and pretend.
On a side note: Darrett makes an excellent replace-a-date, especially when your husband has to work and you're too chicken to brave a large social gatherings on your own with people you barely know. I give him three out of four stars. On time. Polite. Well groomed. Serving my food was quite a bonus. He'd might have gotten another half a star, if he'd let me win at least one round of You Don't Know Jack at the end of the night.
