I had exactly enough money in my wallet today to buy a diet coke from the vending machine at work and a book of stamps on my way home. I told Matt that as I was digging for change at the counter, I was worried that I would have to ask the postal employee for 19 stamps instead of a book of 20 he was waiting for me to pay for. Matt smiled at me when I showed him my wallet all empty and proud, then he asked me if I needed some cash.
Yesterday Matt asked me to sew a button back onto one of his pants. I taped the button to the bathroom mirror so I wouldn't lose the button (and to remind myself). Now that I have the inclination to do that little task, I can't find his pants. I suspect he's wearing them at work.
