Was cleaning up the kitchen today when my brother stopped by. He looked a bit surprised when I dumped out the rice pot into the trash and even more surprised when I exclaimed, "Cool!" I explained to him that I had forgotten that there was rice in the pot and it had sat there so long it liquefied underneath. (I cooked rice when I was watching his kids because they are rice eaters just like their Daddy, even when Aunty Jenny makes lasagna.) He cringed and said, "I was planning on eating that." My cheerful reply: Aren't you glad you didn't.
