Yay! Glad you're back! I am so dependent on my computer I feel I've forgotten something if I don't get on it every few hours. =}

when i was little, i used to think i'll never never learn to use the computer, because i prefer the old ways and i thought i could just fine with the old and manual ways. i liked how the old ways had more of a personal touch to whatever you do.

well, now i am just as dependent on computer as anyone else.

Welcome back! I was joking with my husband that perhaps we should set up a laptop on an exercise bike in such a way that we have to engage in some physical exercise every day to power up the computer in order to check email, read the news, or blog. :) In that way, our reliance upon computers might acquire some additional benefits!

I'm SO happy you're back too. It is amazing how much we rely on computers now. There are good and bad things about them, the good being things you mentioned but one bad thing is not connecting with people face to face as much. Being so busy, and email is about the only way to stay connected.

*HUGS* Welcome back!

it's interesting, isn't it, how ppl complain that the internet has made us too distanced from others, and yet it's such a crutch! :p i agree w/ you though... at work they banned a lot of sites for virus purposes (or so they say), and that's torture. i can't imagine not having the internet at all!
glad you're back! :)

Yeah. Welcome back. There is definitely an empty void when the computer isn't working. Also an empty void when you're not around. 8]
