I was joking with my husband that perhaps we should set up a laptop on an exercise bike in such a way that we have to engage in some physical exercise every day to power up the computer in order to check email, read the news, or blog. :) In that way, our reliance upon computers might acquire some additional benefits! It is amazing how much we rely on computers now. There are good and bad things about them, the good being things you mentioned but one bad thing is not connecting with people face to face as much.
