It's tough letting Christmas go this time. I want the tree to stay up and the lights on it to glow throughout the year. And the gifts should always be there, waiting. I remember my older brother sleeping in the big orange chair by the tree on Christmas Eve because he was so excited and didn't want to have to go far once he opened his eyes to begin opening gifts. Another time he didn't open his gifts at all but stockpiled them in his room, to maintain the suspense, to preserve the excitement of Christmas. I saw a little boy at Food 4 Less dancing on the grocery store tiles he was so excited. Wouldn't it be great if we could maintain that same excitement we had as kids, when we really did believe in Santa Claus?
