Friday’s Passion

Just when I almost got the weather down to a science, it goes bonkers on me. For a while, it seemed whenver my daughter had the day off, it rained. I almost felt like a weather forecaster. This morning I expected to look out the window and see thunderstorms even though the radio forecasted fair skies. I was skeptical. Meg has a day off today. It SHOULD be raining but it’s not! It’s a surprisingly beautiful day!
We started the day early. Since my friend is coming over for dinner, we had to make a quick run to get some food. Of course, we had to stop at Starbucks for my daily double dose of Mocha Frappaccinos. I read somewhere that Starbucks had about 56% more caffeine than coffees sold at 7-Eleven.
We had breakfast and did a few stuff around the house until it was time to take Kamalani to her ballet class. This time, I had her mom take her to class since it’s not often Meg gets off on Fridays. I stayed in the car and played with my best friend, my PDA, until Kamalani was done. Meg said she would do good if she paid attention to the instructor but she was more fascinated with the lady applying her makeup. Well, what does she expect? Kamalani’s nosy like her mom. Duh!
Tonight, after dinner we’re going to see Passions Of The Christ. I’ve been looking forward to seeing this movie almost as much as I looked forward to seeing LoTR’s trilogy. I was forewarned to view this with someone because of the graphic scenes. Yeah, believe it or not, I get really squeamish when I hear and see people in pain.
The other day we went and had some rolls of film developed. FIVE rolls, in fact. I knew what 3 of the films contained but it’s always a surprise when we have those lost films developed and you find out it was that roll you used about 3 years ago. I’ll need to install the old scanner again and get some pics in my gallery.
