I was playing with my cell phone today, fixing whatever it was that Kamalani had changed. She knows more about the features than I do. That’s kinda scary. Anyway, she asked what I was doing and I said, none of your business. She said, no grandma, it’s nunya, not none of your business, She remembers what her Papa told her the many times that she asked what he was doing.
I’m glad her mom has the day off tomorrow. I want to do some more cleaning and basically sorting out stuff that have piled up over the past weeks, months and even years. It’s difficult to do with her because she starts touching and writing on things. Just getting in the way. I tried doing to her what I did to her mom when she was Kamalani’s age. All of the children had chores to do. The Good Son and Meg had special chores though since they weren’t very good at cleaning anything. Their chore was to STAY OUT OF EVERYONE’S WAY. Kamalani won’t hear of it. She wants to get her hands into everything, she wants to do real chores, anything BUT cleaning up her mess. I’ve spent the day pointing out toys that needs to be put away and she keeps saying, “I’m going to do it grandma” then gets distracted by another toy. She wants me to build her a cardboard stage so she can have a puppet show but I told her it’s not gonna happen until all her toys are picked up. As of this posting, she hasn’t had her puppet show. Quite honestly, I don’t think she’ll be having a puppet show in the near future either. Maybe she’s waiting for her Papa to get home so he can help her pick up her toys in the living room? I know if I ask her she’ll probably respond with something like, “nunya!”
I know it’s “none of my business,” but if you close the “comment” section, how am I to respond or provide “humor” to you. Just thought I’d mention that so the next. Besides, I could always relay my responses through a past blog. Kiss the “boss” for me.
Oops! I forgot to add …. I love you too as well as the Boss’ mom and all our other children and their children. Oh by the way, this is not to be taken as “humor.”
Well, I was thinking that closing the comment section could be like saying something and just having you listen. heh. That’s something Kamalani would do. And I was just testing it because I was being mahaoe like your grand daughter.
