Back up plan #398

It’s been a while since I wrote about the little demonchild so I thought I’d write something endearing tonight. She woke up in a fairly good mood which kept us in a fairly good mood. Ever since Megs has gotten her license, she’s had somewhere to “go”. Today was no exception. She “needed” to go to a food show at one of the restaurants so they left mid morning and returned with a take out order of bacon-cheeseburger w/ fries and 2 fried chicken salads. I had already eaten leftover ham, rice and potato salad from our Father’s Day dinner so I wasn’t hungry. Anyway, Megs and the sweet demonchild had their lunch, then Megs got ready for work while demonchild demolished the livingroom played with her toys in the livingroom. After Megs left for work, Kamalani wanted to get online to surf her favorite sites which includes Barbie, Disney, PBSkids, Noggin, Sesame Street and a few others that I’ve bookmarked for her.
At dinnertime, hubby decided to eat the leftovers from the lunches they bought and when Kamalani saw that he was eating the burger, she flipped out and started to throw a tantrum. I was snoring resting my tired eyes until she started screaming. So I made her dinner and fed her. In the beginning she was trying to complain about her papa, but I kept filling her mouth with food and reminded her that she shouldn’t talk with food in her mouth. We were watching Along Came Polly on DVD and she soon forgot all about her burger. She began laughing at parts of the movies, namely the part where Ben Stiller is on the toilet letting out some loud farts. So what is the lesson here?
When all else fails to calm Kamalani down, put on a fart scene. It never fails!
