After putting off mailing their box of goodies for months, I finally gathered everything we had around the house and switched to larger boxes (since we’ve added more goodies), taped and labeled them all for mail out today. I hope they get it soon and in tact.
I joked with the Postal Worker and told him I really should start sending out Christmas gifts so I can send them on Space Available Mail (SAM) status and they’ll get it by Christmas. I had candies and stuff in these boxes so SAM was out of the question. I didn’t want it sitting in some overly heated warehouse for weeks. Next time though, I’m separating the edibles from the dry goods so we can ship them on separate statuses. I’ll save a bundle for sure.
Ahhh, the joys of motherhood.
