Daddy’s Home
Sep 7th, 2004 by Leimamo
It’s been a long 6 weeks without hubby. Moreso now that I need to discuss retirement matters with him. I’ll cut him some slack for today because he looks really tired, as he usually does, after returning from being out at sea. I had initially planned to cook a pot of beef stew, lomi-lomi salmon, ahi poke, poi and rice but I was lazy re-prioritized and opted for sleep instead. But we will definitely eat ono grub tomorrow.
I know Meg is happy that I’ll be domestic again.
Ah, homecoming! How sweet it is! I don’t know which part is better: the post-separation snuggling, or the ono grinds!
Hi grandma..
oops auntie~! how are you?? I’m sorry i’ve been MIA on your blogs.. jaiden has been getting bigger now and I’m spending so much time withhim because I’ve noticed his developments and it’s really touchign to see them how fast they can grow! haha.. hugs to all..
Hey Joyce,
Long time no see or hear. I bet he’s getting BIG! Is he crawling around and getting into things yet? You need to send us more pics. Kamalani loves looking at his baby pictures. We’ll get together soon and I’ll fix some chicken kelaguin!
A’ilina,
I cooked the ono grinds today but they were full on Taco Bell food. It’s okay though because day old stew taste more ono.
“…day old stew taste more ono…”
Absolutely! That’s how we love our corned beef cabbage!
So funny…I just came from HawaiiThreads, talking story about ono grinds! I can’t stand it anymore. Time to raid the refrigerator!
