Moderating can be a pain
Aug 21st, 2005 by Leimamo
I know I should be glad that I’m not seeing a zillion spam comments and it’s all due to the moderation of comments. But, sometimes it can be a pain in the ass. There was a time that I forgot I had to approve each and every comment so it went a few weeks without anything. Then duh, I logged on and found my dashboard full of comments to moderate. Granted most of them were spam stuff but there were a few that were ligit.
What is it with people who have the need to repeat themselves by flooding people’s comments with their trash? Really, if they’re so stuck on the diet pills or gambling, then they should step away from the computer and take a pill or twelve or get to their nearest Indian Reservation Casino and knock themselves out. Don’t they know we already see enough advertisement on television, in magazines, on browser toolbars, etc. etc. We can’t get away from them, they’re everywhere.
Anyway, I’m pretty sick of having to moderate every damned comment (including my own) but if it keeps the spam from appearing then I’ll just grin and bear it. ||End of Rant||

I got so fed up with Word Press not being able to catch the SPAMMERS. Number #1 reason why I went on my own and got my own “hale.” Of course got to pay but since moving, I have no problems with Spammers or milicious comments. Saves time to concentrate in writing instead of a nightly swearing at which nobody is gonna hear except oneself!
I’m my own Administrator and I can post as much as I want to. Theres no limit. You are master to your own Domain!

I was thinking about that but I dunno how to set up the site by myself and Ryan does such a great job and updating WP here for me. As much as I’d like to be my own boss, I’d be lost without his help.
Ryan is the Web Master. I miss being part of the stories that get posted on the front page. However, I like the feel of learning new things. My gratitude to Ryan will never cease…he’s the one that got me started!

You could always post an exerpt to the Hawaii Stories page then link the whole entry to your new website. You might need to contact Ryan for access though.
