Tulip Festival

Rows and rows of tulips that are grown about 30 miles from where we live. Every spring they have a tulip festival where visitors can roam the fields and take pictures or purchase flowers for a small fee.
The tulips are so abundant here that they sell it at $10.00 for 3 bunches (about a dozen in each bunch). My mom wanted me to send her some when we lived here before but I never got around to it. I think I’ll see if I can just send her some bulbs so she can plant her own because I don’t know if they’ll keep through the shipping. Besides, all she’ll need to do is remember to toss the bulbs in the freezer for a few weeks each year then replant them and watch them bloom.
