It’s like a HeatWave

Yanno, it’s been so friggen hot these past three days. The temperature in our area felt like it was in the upper 90’s but according to the weather sites it was something like low 80’s. I say they’re wrong. Ok, so maybe I’m a tad bit spoiled. All of our married life, whilst in the Navy, we had Air Conditioning so I never had to suffer the heat of HELL. Then I figured we lived in the Pacific Northwest, it shouldn’t get too hot here. Oh, but I was so wrong.
Have you ever felt like killing a family member simply because HE was breathing your air? Ok, so what if I had the fan locked on me at all times? The fact is, it offered very little relief. And to make matters worse hubby didn’t look as miserable as I felt. How dare he breath all the cool air, MY cool air? Anyways, all bodies are still accounted for and the forecaster said it should start cooling off slowly within the week. I sure hope so.
I am suffering also in da Valley of da Sun. 117 degrees BUT its a dry heat? Well its a dry heat with hot flashes. OH dats me. LOL
Plus because I no moe one thyroid, dat also means I no moe one “thermostat”. Da way da Doc explained it to me: if people are hot you are hotter and people are cold you are colder. And dat no include da hot flashes. LOL
Dis has been just terrible, and I know exactly wat u mean. My hubby gives off so much heat! I’m like, move ovah, I can feel da heat waves radiating off u! And in dis kine stinkin’ hot weather, is even more worse. Even in da wintah… he is like dis potbelly stove next to me.
No breathe my air! I hear u, sistah!!
Oh yeah, I’m down here in Oregon. Ho da hot!!

I could barely endure the past 4 days of normal heat, I don’t know how you can live in that heat EVERY day. Move north!

I heard on the news how hot it was down that way. I felt for you when I heard was in the 100s. Today was nice over here. The high was 68 degrees. Right now stay down to 54 and I’m loving it. Woo Hoo
