We celebrated our 29th anniversary yesterday. I wouldn’t say celebrate because we didn’t do anything special. Hubby wanted to do something special for me but I just wasn’t in any mood to go out for dinner so instead I made a big pot of stew and we just chilled at home. It was relaxing, maybe too relaxing because I didn’t want to wake up for work today.
With the temperatures dropping and the rainy season upon us, I should be at home snuggled in a blankie watching court shows while I munch on ….. bon bons. Yeah, now that’s my kind of celebration!
I overheard a girl talking to her friend and she was saying how she was with her ex-boyfriend for 6 years. Actually, I think her words were, “I gave him 6 years of my life and I’m never doing that again for anybody.” I turned to her and said, “We just celebrated our 29th anniversary and that doesn’t count the years together before we got married.” Sometimes you just gotta take a chance.

Marraige is hard work. I think afta people have been together for 20 years den you can complain, before dat you just learning still. LOL People age differently yeah so well’um don’t get me started. LOL
My anniversary is moa old den me! Jass like my kids. ROFL. I tell peeps is one Hawaiian kine custom… get married befoa I was born. Have da kids befoa I was born too.
Hubby and me been chru some tough times. But part of da glue dat keeps us together is dat we get history togedda. Dat count foa something.
