This morning somebody made a comment about da way my shoes stay tied. It reminded me of how come stay funny kine.
I do somethings left handed and I’m a righty. I lead with my left. So I’m a goofyfooter. Or I tink its just goofy! *L* Its whats comfortable for me. Cause like I will open the door with my left hand, do stuff I don’t really notice like a lefty.
See, it wasn’t till I was married dat Husband said, ‘How come you tie your shoes left handed?’ ‘How come you deal cards left handed?’ ‘How come you da kine left handed?’ nah nah nah ~ [all da pilau minds undastand ‘da kine’] LOL
I was explaining the lefty righty thing to a Specail Ed teacher friend. And she said thats not unusual I just have a “Left/Right Dominance Issue”. Ohhhhh, I have ‘kapakahi issues’. How come nobody told me dat small keed time. I’m attention deficit-ish also and nobody told me dat eda. Back in da day it was called “stupid” or “lazy” or “humbug” or “hudhead”.
Wot back in da day? I still humbug, on some occassions more then others. Lazy, not really but I can be in a New York minute. Stupidhead, NOT - I moe smut (smart) now. I’m stupid about certain things, not all; just alot. LOL I’m a slow learner sometimes. *L*
I still kinda Hudhead; you know how I know? I no even listen to myself sometimes. Dats borderline stupidhead on da hudhead side. Hudhead cause I learn tings da hud way, like after pau awreddy I figgem’ out, kinda late hah. Hello. Wen would have been easier if I had just listened to myself. But NO gotta make drama or make stuff harder then it all ready is. Wotkinedat?
I have lived all dese years Kapakahi-ish and it wasn’t explained to me till I was 30-ish. Whatever it is, it works for me. I guess I’ve learned to compensate for goofy-ness. It didn’t dawn on me dat I really did have left/right issues till I use to chauffer my kids around. I would take them to their friends house and they would say “turn right.” I would point with my lefthand left den right. Dey would say, right hand right side. Or sometimes I would point left when dey say right. And dey tell me, MOM, da ada left is right! LOL
Did you know dat all American screws turn right? I have to tell myself dat every time. If I get da screwdriver in my right hand I turn it left, cause az wot feel right; to me. But if I have the screwdriver in my left hand I turn it right automatically. *L*
Kapakahi issues or wot?
