Anywaysssss #1 daughter said the wedding is off. She broke up with the dude. I asked her if that was her Birthday present to herself, cause she made 32 on Saturday which is when the broke up. I asked her why? She said cause he was very clingy and always broke! Ok ~ those are good reasons. Besides she was on the rebound after a 5 year relationship so I don’t think she had her heart in it. But what do I know.
I raised very independent kids and they have these standards that are up there. My #1 is the first person to tell her siblings to “kickem’ to da curve.” So I guess she listened to herself. She has always had good gut feelings and I think she’s learn to listen to them so thats a good thing.
Ok ~ so no wedding. Ho-hum what else is new.

At least that gives you a good sigh of relief. Just imagine if your daughter proceeded with her marriage. It could have been a terrible mistake. I understand it was a rebound relationship. Well we do not really know if she truly liked her latest boyfriend and what really went wrong with the relationship. At least now we know that entering a rebound relationship should not be done on impulse. It must be done with the right reasons.
