I love Bookstores. Why? Um’cause I part bookbook! hehehehe Couldn’t resist make one bookbook joke yeah.
Waldens, Daltosn, Borders, Barnes & Noble; whatever its all good. In Albuquerque, NM they have a new & used bookstore called PAGE ONE (on Juan Tabo & Montgomery, I think). Its one of those cool places to hangout in for hours. Especially since they have a Coffee Shop and gazillion magazines.
In Arizona there is BOOKMAN’S. There’s one in Tucson, 2 in Phoenix & 1 in Flagstaff. Bookman’s is a used bookstore where you can sell your stuff to them and get credit so you can buy moe stuff. Its really cool. They also have magazines, CDs, DVD’s, cassettes, LP’s you know vinyl and some hardware stuff.
That place inspires me to let go of my old books so I can get new used ones. Vicious cycle I know but hey at least I getting new stuff to read. So I’m geeky la dat. *L* Paperbacks can be as low as $2 but average about $3.50-$4. Magazines cost about $1.50. Alot of the magazines are the current issues to thats pretty cool. They have a large selection of Arizona Highways and National Geographics.
We took my sister to Bookman’s today and OMG I thought I was bad, her bought about 6 books. Her and her romance novels, Eeeewwlll. *L* She also bought a bunch of cookbooks. Of couse she gotta shippem’ to herself on the east coast cause her suitcase no moe room awreddy. Plus her wen buy tons of material. She’s Ms Seamtress.
I can spend da whole day in a bookstore. Sometimes I can read da whole book so no need buyem’. CHANG!
