I read an article from the Honolulu Advertiser that was posted online. It was an article about a soldier in Iraq who got busted trowing da Shaka sign at one general or LT and so NOW da Shaka sign is not allowed. (I tink Lurkah wen post dat article at da ohanalani)
Anyways I was tinking (and Lord knows I shouldn’t sometimes but I do) that:
There’s a war going on, HELLO and there are more freaking important things then one shaka sign! Its called “Survival”! What a great way of killing da moral of da Locals guys. Somebody who you might one day have to cover your ass while you’re out there fighting. EH, but you tink General/ LT or woteva he is going be out in da field, even helping; bugga prolly be at “headquarters” in one safe zone.
Ok, for one thing yeah Bruhdah was wrong in trowing one sign to at da high ranking officer. He shoulda just salute and leave it at dat espeically since da ada guy no was local (and if he was den somebody needs to kick his ass now). Eh, at least was one positive sign and not da sign of one middle fingah Bruh wen trow. Yes Bruhdah who wen trow da sign shoulda been punished NOT ALL da soldiers from Hawaii. Highmakamuck Ranking Offisah should have reprimended Bruh on da spot. Verbally anden gazillion pushups or KP or a day in da brig woteva, but one on one. Mano a’ mano. Wot EEFF these were two haole guys. Anden HaoleBoy trow da Texas “hookem’ horns” sign. Az ja’like one shaka sign plus one moe fingah, da one next to da thumb. K-eeef for argument sake: HB trows dat Texas sign to da HighRanking Officer ~ Does HB get written up/reprimended and da whole army are forbidden to trow/show da “Hookem’ Horns” sign?
I FRKN think not! Why, cause its Texas and da whole mother state of Texas, ACLU, every politician of every political party would have been on dat Officers Ass in a New York minute and dat would include da dang President! Am I wrong?

Perhaps I’m cynical, yes datz wot it is? It doesn’t change the fact that something as positive as da Shaka Sign has been banned in Iraq.
And the Armed Services wonder WHY recruiting is down? Try look at your officers!
