Last month I went to see MARCH OF THE PENGUINS, too cute. Good summer movie. It cooled me off seeing all that snow. They look so funny and cute. They do look like nuns. *L* Morgan Freeman has that great story teller voice.
I’ve also seen the movie RED EYE. I told my daughta her & her friend need to go see dat movie. Remind dose girls not to talk to strangers la dat since they both are single go fly all over da country career women. It was a typical thriller movie filled with cliches.
You know da wahine running away BUT of course she trips & fall down so da bad guy stay catching up. Or the “keys” scene; weneva get one thriller movie and there are keys involved weather its to open da car, start da car or open da house; what do they do…..right……drop da dam keys! Haven’t you guys learned from watching movies not to do that. Its like there’s a standard that every thriller movie has to have that. Anyway my favorite line from that movie is, “Dude, there’s your pen!” You gotta see the movie to appreciate that one.
Last night we went to see THE SOUND OF THUNDER. OMG, I was jumping in my seat and hiding my face. Its like frkng ‘Jurassic Park on steroids’. Although this story was written long before Jurassic, its originally a short story by Ray Bradbury. I remember reading Ray Bradbury in high school. He’s one of these strange visonary very imaginative writers. I remember reading his book of short stories but the only one I really remember is TATTOO MAN or something titled like that.
Anyway for a good ride go see THE SOUND OF THUNDER. It makes you think. It made me wonder how Ray Bradbury could so imagine it, since it was written in the 50’s or 60’s way before technology and stuff like that. Its wierd to see the story in 3D you know. Just like JRR Toelkien stuff, reading the story is one thing then seeing the movie is another.
If you’re girly girl like me, does not do well in horror movies; then you have to have someone there to pinch, punch, hide behind, slap woteva. *L* I think if survivors from Hurricane Katrina see this movie they might get flashback.
I was thinking I was gonna have nightmares from seeing this movie. There is some creepy creepy stuff. If I tell you what, wouldn’t be no fun when you go see’um. Its seriously creepy ugly doe. I swear. Guys may think other wise but I like see dem go catch one eel la dat! Or woteva dat creature was in da watah. One of da most creepy part for me was wen da guys says: “ssssshhhhh don’t make noise, you’ll wake THEM up” ~ da camera pans up to da ceiling ~ I almost screamed, eeeeeeeeee.
I didn’t have nightmares. Sort of. I did have a wierd dream. Walking in da ugly watah, eeewwwwll. I saw my dead body slumped ova, I swear it was me. My thought was I’m that small, I must have lost weight. LOL
I woke up thinking: YES there is hope but I hope I don’t gotta makidiedead first before I come small la dat. *L*

I hate the hustle and bustle of going to the movies and finding parking, taking out the wheelchairchair, standing in lines, etc. I usually wait when it’s available on DVD and watch it at home. Now, MAMA and I love KOREAN MOVIES so much…we care less about American ones. When you come for your reunion, I give you one to take back. Guarrans, Tita Lika, you going love um’ too!
