I dreamed I was sleeping in bed against the wall and a little long haired dog came running into da room, jumped on the bed and bit my left hand and wouldn’t let go. I thought I was screaming help, trying to pull myself up outta bed but I kept getting pulled down by the pain and tugging of the dog. The dog was between me, the wall and the matterss. I finally realize I need to scream help not just think help, and I screamed out loud “Help help!” The dog was dead suffocated between the wall, matterss and my behind. I woke up with my left hand aching.
Pau dream.

Dog

To see a dog in your dream, indicate a skill that you have ignored or forgotten, but needs to be activated. Alternatively, dogs may symbolize intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed. If the dog is vicious and/or growling, then it signifies some inner conflict within yourself. It may indicate betrayal and untrustworthiness. If the dog is dead or dying, then it indicates a loss of a good friend. Alternatively, it represents a deterioration of your instincts. Also consider common notions associated with the word dog, such as loyalty (”man’s best friend”) and to be “treated like a dog”.

To see a happily barking dog in your dream, symbolizes pleasures and much social activity. If the dog is barking ferociously, then it represents your habit of unnecessary barking at people and the situations around you. It could also mean unfriendly companions. To dream that a dog bites your on the leg, suggests that you have lost your ability to balance aspects of your life. You may be hesitant in approaching a new situation or have no desire to move forward with your goals.

To dream that you are being bitten by a vampire, signifies your need to shut out a person in your life who has been using you. It is time to open your eyes and stand up for your self. Do not let yourself be manipulated and played for a fool.

Hand

To dream of your hands, represents your relationship to those around you and how you connect with the world. Hands serve as a form of communication. Perhaps you need to lend out a helping hand to someone. In particular, the left hand symbolizes your graciousness and feminine, receptive qualities. And the right hand symbolizes masculine, active attributes. It may also be a pun for some decision or something being “right”.

To dream that you are holding hands with someone, represents your connection with that person. Your dream may also reflect anxieties about losing touch with him/her or that you are drifting apart.

To dream that you hands are injured, denotes an attack on your ego.

Great ~ So I’ve forgotten about a skill and I need to reactive it, there’s been an attack on my ego, I am vulnerable in regards to my unresolved issues emotions, I may be pestered by a problem or obstacle, da dog was vicious and/or growling, so it signifies some inner conflict within me, my insticts are deteriorating, I may have loss a good friend and if so I’m going to feel really bad because I suffocated dem with my okole. Auwe!

    Hi!
I dreamt that a small extra energetic light brown mongrel(half pom) scratched me badly on my left hand. I was rescued but dismayed to learn that I would have to take the anti rabies shots.
So I suppose my feminine side might take a bruising through the betrayal of a close friend of the opposite sex? Or perhaps my inner conflict might cause the damage? Perhaps the problem has a cure and won’t prove fatal…
Imagine my delight when I discovered I wasn’t the only one dreaming of madly barking dogs!
Glad I could drop in. Thanks.

When walking past I caught 1 and it started to roll down the hill. I managed to stop it and helped her sit at a table with her very young childeren by putting cusions behind them…I know this sounds strange. Then my wife and I were walking about again and went past a field with some people and dogs when a small short white haired bog came up to me and bite me on my right top lower arm. The pain was real and I could clearly see the bite. I awoke with a pain where the bite was and I must of scratched it as it was red… DO I NEED LOCKING UP LOL as i am having very strange dreams this past few weeks just this is the only one to include a dog bite

I dreamt last night that I was in a fairly large backyard and 2 Dobermans and 1 German shepard were running toward me and they were growling. I froze two hands halfway toward my face but they jumped up before I could cover it. I sensed the need to be VERY still … so I didn’t move nor did I shake even though I was scared to death. I stood photograph still… each dog had teeth exposed and one was about to grip my throat, the other two went for each wrist… I could feel their teeth and smell their breath but they did not bite down hard… just enough for me to feel their teeth… I heard a voice telling me to open my eyes and see how close I am… but I would not open my eyes… somehow I knew not to… I stood still eyes tightly shut and silently prayed with all I had that I would be protected… Then, just like that… the dogs let go and started licking my fingers.

Wow! I have had dreams for YEARS that an animal, 99% dog, bites my hands and will not let go. At first it hurts and all but then I kind of go numb and try to get the dog to release it’s grip but I never can. The last part makes me feel so ashamed as I would never hurt and animal on purpose in real life but in my dreams I have no choice that I usually have to snap the dog’s necks and kill them to get loose. I really really want to stop having these dreams so if you can help me understand whats going on, please do!

So I had the weirdest dream last night. It involved my ex, a gragonfly and a flying dog that was a vampire. (Yes, this was an actual dream! Sooo weird)
Anyway, I’m with my ex (which we’ve actually remained friends), we are in my room and there is a dragonfly in my room and it keeps flying around me and into my face, almost attacking me. My ex opens the window and lets it out. As soon as the dragonfly is out, in comes a flying vampire dog. I know it sounds funny but I seem to remember this dream in detail. It attacks and bites my ex and then my ex turns into a vampire! That was it from what I remember. I’m really wondering what it means. Maybe my ex isn’t such a good person to keep in my life? Hmm…

Hi All - Raman here. Since childhood, I have been dreaming about so many things till now. Couple of dreams are repetitive. (1) Falling from sky or from top of a big building, but landing is very soft. I feel very tired, low energized, fatigued when I wake up. (2) Horse in dream - either I am riding a horse or see a horse running wild free. (3) When I was a child, go to Beach or seashore, play in sand, but when try to build a sand castle, I find some money, then I dig some more, find more money, more & more money. In dream I come back home & store the money or give it to my mom. Next day after waking up, when I ask my mom about this she simply laughs. (4) Dog biting my right wrist - this one is strange. I go to my friend’s place, his dog is familiar. It comes to me, wags the tail, rub his body against me & then all of a sudden starts licking my right hand and grips his mouth on my right wrist. The grip becomes severe with lot of pain and I am shouting for help in my dream, nobody comes for rescue. Somehow I widely open the mouth of the dog with help of my leg, take my hand off & throw the dog. Does all these dreams have any significance in our life OR they try to indicate something to us through dreams or W…H…A…T ??? If somebody can answer, please reply to my personal email i.d. “a_s_raman@rediffmail.com”

i dreamt that my close friend’s dogs got out of a room and were attacking people, i was running and stayed up in a high place so they would not get me, then my friend was able to detain the dogs and I felt really good and was bragging that the dogs didn’t get me, all of a sudden the dogs got out again there were 2 dogs and I felt that they were after me, after i made it to my car the dogs never moved from under the bed and i saw that they were dead, but after i left i found out they were not dead, what does that mean.

  16. another hand bite dream says:

I had a dream that an evil chiuahuah was standing in my grandmother’s living room. my family and i were all around but no one really seemed to be bothered with the dog. it just kept leaving and coming back to the same spot in the middle of the floor, every time it returned it had a new wound. it was like he was leaving and getting into dog fights or he was eating at himself. when he came back finally missing his left leg (all i could see was a bone and red meat it wasnt bleeding all over the place) and one of his front paws thats when he attacked me. he bit my right hand and wouldnt let go no matter how hard i shook. finally a knife appeared in my right hand (and now he’s biting my left hand) and i start stabbing him but he won’t die. he just keeps on biting. finally he dies but i woke up thinking my dog was trying to jump up into my bed (i lock him in the bathroom at night so that was impossible) I;m shaky and my hands were hurting. I have no idea what that means but i’ve tried looking up different things on the web. i need to know how it pertains to me.
