I got me some new eyes. I got new glasses with an upgraded aka stronger prescription. I suppose that would also be known as “coke bottles.” Thats so dated huh, you have to be of a ‘certain’ age bracket to understand the concept of “coke bottles.” *L*

I’ve worn regular wire rim glasses for a long time. So this time I got me some modified Clark Kent glasses. Not. They are really narrow rectangle shape glasses. Kinda of professor-ish looking. It makes me look like I know something ~ LOL ~ uh, you don’t wanna know what I know. hehehehe

Oh and its purple! Ok its not identifiable purple, it looks black. Its more of a dark grape color in the light. It just looks like a dark pair of glasses. I likem’.

I’ve always liked wearing glasses. Maybe cause I’ve had to. Its not that I can’t see. I can see fine. I can’t read! I wear my glasses all the time its just helpful to see the world in focus, you know.

My eyes are messed up because I have one of each, farsighted/nearsighted. I suppose thats a good thing as long as I’m not blindsighted. Forensic science woudl be able to ID me just by my glasses prescription because its so strange. All my eye doctors have said the same thing. “You have healthy eyes but a strange prescription.”

I suppose I could explain it to them, but whats the point they’re the doctors they know right. Actually back in the day like when I was a kid, I only had one bad outta focus maka. But as kids preventive medicine, be it body, dentist or eyes was not an option. You went to the doctor because you was sick. Nobody every told my parents I needed glasses. I probably did but what did I know I was a kid.

So when I was a senior in high school and working I went to the eye doctor and got my first pair of glasses. Then I waited for whatever reason another 3 or 4 or 5 years before I went back to an eye doctor again. By that time my good eye over compensated for my junk eye, therefore rendering me all makapio eye. Or something la dat. LOL Lucky I not crossed eye!

None the less I have my new eyes giving me a new attitude. I didn’t realize how junk my old glasses was till I put on da new ones. Duh. Now my futures so bright, I’ve got to wear shades…..*L*
