I never noticed it till someone mentioned it. (Ain’t that usually the case.) Someone said “How come she has age spots on her hands and you don’t?”
I think the correct answer is: because I’ve been blessed. But I think I said something genius like: I dunno! I’m thiniking its genetics. But I’m not sure, I never notice or don’t remember the looks of the hands of my mom and grandma, weather there are age spots or not. I don’t think my oldest sister has any.
Age spots is about heredity and genetics, right. Not everyone has’em I’m thinking. Or they gettum at different times. Maybe I’ll gettem’ later, I’m clueless.
I may not have age spots but I have kakios. LOL I know, the last time I was home I said something about “kakio knees” and one friend said “wow nobody uses that word anymore.” Excuse me, somebody does; I do. *L* Kakio = scars.
People may not notice it cause I’m brownish or whatever color I’m called but my hands are scarred. People don’t see it unless I point it out. I guess I have camophlaged (sp?) scars. *L*
I have a burn mark from the oven rack and on both hands I have IV puka marks. Anden on my left hand close to my writst I have some moe puka needle marks. They had to take blood from my viens in my wrist because something about I have deep veins. You have to be a good blood sucker to get blood outta me.
Couple of weeks ago I had to give or more like they had to take 4 frkn viles of blood outta me. The lab lady, what are they called; phlebotamist or something like that. Anyway the lab lady asks me “which arm do you prefer?” I look at her and said “well, it depends how good you are.” She looked, patted, slapped, poked, and slapped inside my left arm and said what all the lab people have told me “you have deep veins.”
Don’t know if thats good or bad. I just figure it depends on how good those “blood suckers” are. Some people have no problem with me. They look at my arm, jab me and get their/my viles of blood. Some other lab people have to poke, prod, and slap and compare both arms before they decide which one to stab.
I’m grateful for my scarred up hands. I have functional hands. I could do a Palmolive dish washing liquid commercial with my daughter and Madge! Remember those commercials ~ LOL ~ how old am I? hehehehehe

I have dishpan hands. I won’t even pay to get a manicure because I know I’ll need to do dishes with them anyway. Why waste the money right? I will get pedicures though even though I’ll have to walk out of the shop on my freshly pedicured feet.
