The Widower of my husband’s cousin visited with us last Xmas and told us he was dating again, blah blah blah. I was like OMG didn’t she just die, don’t these people wait a year? This year we’re told “they” got married. Again me with da “OMG didn’t she just died, don’t these people wait a year?”

One part of the story is DC(deceased cousin) told her husband she could not be the wife he needed because of her many illness and complications from diabetes. She recommended/suggested he get IT elsewhere. All she asked was that he does it with discretion. She even suggested a person, her cousin that was a widow.

Another part of the story is he lives in DC’s house, DC’s stuff & bed etc with new wife. A house that is located on family property, next door to older brother and other cousins from the Dad’s side (thats how they are related to my husband). The ‘new wife’ is a cousin from DC’s mom side.

So we were told the story in bits and pieces from different family members. Like DC’s pissed off brothers and sisters. Respectfully so I mean “next door” hello.

So my husband says to me: Well wouldn’t you do that?

First of all: Hell no. I would wait the year anden some.

Second of all: Same house and bed as deceased person, no I don’t think so. I would freak myself out; cause just thinking about it is kinda oogie oogie to me. It sounds creepy. I suppose the solution would be to get a new bed *L*, but in general uh, na-uh!

Thirdly of all:*L* I would like to hope I have sense enough to upgrade. Upgrade….like to ummmm’ Shugah Daddy 9.0! Yeah, a Shuga Daddy with a 9million dollar mansion. Ok 1 million. How about half a million? Shuga Daddy with a house and posterpedic matteress, den. Yeah, I going ova deya, why stay hea? *L*

SO if you live in the same house & use the same bed as you did with a deceased spouse; aren’t you more susceptible to calling new spouse by old spouse’s name?

If you call a new spouse by a deceased spouse’s name is that more forgiveable then if it was a live ex-spouse?

That is soooo not funny, so how come I’m cracking up by myself? LOL
