One day last week I spent the whole day on the phone. I sat at my desk making calls, talking to people, making notes and what not. All the while staring at the corner of my cubicle.

The wall is white, the desk is white, all I was staring at was white on white. I needed something kalakoa.*L* Or at least something that was less monotonous then white on white.

I had to get my prescription at the drug store. They had a whole table of different lucky bamboo in different types of vases. Just cute, you know da frog ones, honu or panda bear vases la dat. The tallest one was like 2 ft tall, had 3 curly bamboo in a vace that was 12inches tall, look like green bamboo and had one honu on the bottom look like crawling up da vase. It also had 3 Pakay charms in red on it, 3 auspicious symbols.

I was thinking wow, thats just what da corner of my cubicle need. I didn’t get it because I forgot to pick it up as I was going out. So last Friday, Husband said he was going take me to lunch and I toldem’ go to da drug store, buy me dat lucky bamboo and bringing’um to my office. I pay him back bumbye. (I neva yet) LOL It was just $19.99.

So anyway that large curly lucky bamboo sits in the corner of my desk now and it makes me feel lucky. Looking at it and its 3 dangling charms is much more pleasant then looking at a white corner.

My sista told me long time ago that the lucky bamboo is only lucky if somebody buys it for you. I bought a bunch of lucky bamboo, so wot not lucky? Um’maybe not, cause I know I wen kill one of’um. I dorono if as true that its only lucky if somebody buys it for you.

But maybe as why I neva buy’em anden I told Husband go buyem’. Is it still good luck if you tell somebody to buy it for you? I tink so. *L*
