How many of you have served on a jury? I think I would have IF I didn’t answer any questions. But I answered questions.
Such as: What catagory are you in (RE: Pakalolo) 1) legalize/decriminalize 2) medical pakalolo only 3) its against da law/procecute to da fullest?
I’m for #1. Decriminal, legalize & tax it; makes some money off of it like you do with alcohol and tabacco. I’m not for the illegal stuff coming in from other countries; peoples with bales of it who want to make bazillion dollars; no need dem. Legalize and peoples can grow dey own if dey likem, no need buy or sell; you reap what you sow or you blow what you sow. LOL Easier said den done but hey look at alcohol & tabacco? Dosen’t the country have hugeass deficit to pay and a war to finance?
K-there’s a cop & a witness, who do you believe? Da Cop. Why? Cause thats what I’ve been taught. Cops are the good guys; even doe I know dat there are some BAD cops (and I don’t mean good). So if a witness is 30 feet from the scene and da cop is 100 feet from da scene of da crime; who do you believe? Da closest one. If witness & cop are both 30 feet from scene who do you believe? Da cop. Ha’come? Cause he’s a trained observer, thats what he does for a living and he is sworn to uphold da law and assume he does. Is he always right? No.
I know dat doing Jury duty is a civil and civic duty. With that said its a long and taxing process. Some people love that stuff. A lot of hurry up and wait; sitting in one place hours on end. Listening carefully trying to understand the legal rigamaroar. Legal-lese is so confusing. I’m like yeah but’um da kine, wot; ha’come, na-uh? *L*

I would love to serve on Jury duty but I am not allowed due to medical reasons. I have Mental Illness.
However, I know I can make better decisions than some of the knit wits that serve!
Da nerve!

I had to go in for jury selection but wasn’t needed because they made their selections before they even got to me.
But if they asked the same questions they asked you, I would answer the same way because it actually makes sense. I think that’s the true reason they didn’t pick you, you actually made sense.

I had to serve on one jury. One guy wen charge one nodda guy with 2nd degree attempted harassment. For that, we were in jury selection and trial ONE WEEK.
Evidence presented, trial pau. Jury go deliberate… 3 hours. Send note to judge: “Uh, just exactly which event was it that was supposed to be the harassment?”
Reply from judge: “You have all the evidence and information presented to you that you need to make a decision.”
One vote: Acquitted. Case dismissed.
We couldn’t figure out why the heck they hauled this guy into court!
What a waste of a whole bunch of peoples’ time.
