If you told me years ago that afta I was half a century anden some years old I would be taking Tahitian class; I would say NOT.

Well I’m half a century plus some years old and taking Tahitian class. Its great cardio. Somebody asked me if I lost weight? Um’ not that I know of and I’ve only been to the gym twice this year….hmmmm another entry.

I find class fun, its good for the mind, body and soul kind of fun. It makes me laugh cause I think, ok I know I da oldest one in there. But hey, mind ova mattah. If you no mind yo’age, no mattah. Can. I give’um cause I giva’ yeah.

Lot of people think that Tahitian is about shaking yo’ass. Well you couldn’t shake dat ass if you didn’t have good knees. Its your knees that do da work. Try try……

Stand with your heels together so that your feet are in a V-shape pointing outward. K-bend your knees. Some moe. Hands on da hips or you can lettum’ hang down, wotevas comfortable ~ K ~ circle your hips. Your knees going softly forward & back yeah. Ok do this non-stop for 30 minutes, water break for 2 minutes and 30 moe minutes of different hip movements. Call me in the morning and let me know how you feel. LOL

I neva know that movements have names. Well I did, but now I’m learning correct terminology. Da bump is not called bump, bump is da discription. As in bump side to side, is called ‘ori’. Anden there are different types of ori’s, ori kopa, ori tu’i, ori something else, I neva pay attention or no can rememba right now. Play da music doe, anden my okole rememba. *L*

In April or May us going learn how fo’make our own skirt. That should be interesting. I’m not good at arts&crafting and I’m afraid my stuff come out looking “kindergarten-ish” LOL. Everybody always tell me, juss easy. Yeah easy, fo’dem! When I do’em come out all hammajang. Wotkinedat. Anyway can try try. *L*

My okole may be makule, but it still works! Tamure, tamure! yeeeehaaaaaa
