Did you know that Valentines Day is the busiest day of the year for florists? Probably so. Have you ever wondered who this Valentines person was, and wasn’t the guy a Saint or something? Well all you gotta do is GOOGLE it.

Saint Valentines, turned into St. Valentines, turned into Valentines? hmmmm For commercial reasons I’m thinking. Be my SAINT VALENTINES does not cut it. And isn’t there an ancient story about St. Valentine signing his letter “From your Valentine.” He didn’t mention his saintness.

Regardless, whats a valentines day with out candy? There’s always candy at my desk at work, so everyday in Valentines day. I have chocalate.

To me for Valentines Day its not just for a lover, significant other, spouse or what have you. Its to any anyone you appreciate. You know like elementary school; you send everybody in class a valentine card and eat candy. Yeah like dat.

Some people think it has to be some lover of some sort. Its all about love but it ain’t all about sex. Where did sex come from?……hmmmm. Freudian slip. LOL

Ok like today at work their was alot of guys from out in the field in the office lots of dudes & dudettes hanging around my area and somebody said something about. “Ahhhh you have chocalate, you have valentines candy.” So I yelled out, “Have you guys gone and ordered flowers or gotten something for your other half?” Couple of guys were like thats where we’re going next. And somebody said, “I don’t have an “other half?” I was like, “well something for your Mom or Grandma?” They’re like its not Mother’s Day. Yeah well so what….

In fact there shouldn’t have to be an occassion to send flowers. “Just because” is a good reason. My daughters bless their hearts, I raised them well I think…they called to tell me one is sending flowers to Grandma & the other one is sending it to their Great Aunt. I was like “aaaaah thats such a great idea.”
