It was Friday lunch time, I neva eat breakfast. When we got to Miles Bake Shop I wanted to taste everything. But only could choose one. I chose Pasteles! 2 Pasteles, rice & mac salad….eeemmmmmm dat hit da spot. Us was eating anden Dennis brings out one small bowl poke.
Truth be known I not one big poke eater. I like certain kine. I like poke tako. Its not something I order. Cause I cheap & I eat ada peoples one. Nah nah nah. LOL So anyway if somebody offa something especially food I going taste. So I took one. Anden anada one and anada one. Anden I look at da bowl, ai stay empty. Da poke was ono, like serious broke da mouth ono. You no have to believe me go taste yourself. Da menu says “Fresh Poke Daily!”

On Fridays it says get: Laulau, Kalua Pig, BeefStew or Squid Luau, Chicken Long Rice, Hawaiian Special - Kalua Pig & Chicken Long Rice or Laulau & Beef Stew, Pastele. Plus dey get ada stuff available daily. OH and on Mon, Wed, Fri dey get pastries & pies flown in from home. On Thursdays they get cakes shipped in. When we was there Friday, no had notting in the bakery case, all was kapu boxed up waiting to be picked up.

Dis place really no moe place fo'sit down, its gett'um and go kine. There was like 3 chairs suppose to be fo'people waiting but us was visiting yeah so us make house talk story & grind.

Did I tell you guys he makes Ahi Poke - Limu or Shoyu, Raw Crab Poke, Tako Poke, Mussel Poke, and Shrimp Poke? It sounds like time for a beer, ain’t it?

Eh. Gotta definitely do one replay at Dennis place no? Us had VIP treatment an den. We was sitting in da VIP section of Miles Bake Shop for shua.
Going be back next week for some work on www.50thstateradio.com so you guyz gotta check’em out.

Wow look like one place I gotta visit wen us go Vegas! The Kunia Reunion going be May 1st! And I going be there! I gotta represent third street in the slot tournament! So Fo sure I going mention this place. I love “Ahi Shoyu Poke” I always have to buy mines. I go “Foodland” az rght down the street! But yeah az one place to visit! “I like VIP” treatment too!

I just read that he’s opening up (or maybe already opened) another location across from the Santa Fe Station Casino (North LV). Fresh poke daily, butter rolls, malasadas and the cakes! Vrroom *starting my car* Let’s go eat!
