[K~I’m writing cause bumbye Lia get high blood pressha. LOL I wasn’t writing cause I was “wedding-ing.” Yeah dat. LOL]
Saturday I lost my title of MOB. I liked da title MOB. Sounds gangsta. *L* MOB = Mother of the Bride. You should see my MOB shoes! Hmmm bling bling shiny sparkly.

Me, daughtas & 1 bridesmaid went shoe shopping and I said “I need shoes.” Bride2B said MOM, ova deya get some hot shoes. So I went in da direction of ‘hot shoes’. I found these brown taffeta looking ones & I showed it to her. These? No - da next section. I picked up one “sequinced shiny” ones. THAT One! I try’um on and I was working it, pretend be model kine, try two steppin’ invisible partnah kine. My girls are like you can walk in dat? Oh hell yeah.

I gett’um. When I open it up at home, I asked - “what is dis pink stuff?” There was like a pink cloth in the box. My daughtas laugh at me. “MOM, its a shoebag. All high end shoes come with a shoe bag.” It does? Duh, MY FIRST pair of HIGH END shoes. Ms Thang now. *L*
SO I was Mahdah of da Bride. NOW I one official MIL - mother-in-law. Go figgah.
You know in some Native cultures….. da mother-in-law no ‘pose to talk to da son-in-law AND da fahdah-in-law no ‘pose to talk to daughta-in-law. Seriously. Back in da day and these days if families still follow da TRADITIONAL ways. Do I sound “traditional?” LOL
Da question befoe da wedding was - you going dance? (as in hula) Yeah ok I can. Wot I going dance? Oh yeah, Kealii Reichel “The Road That Neva Ends.” So I did. All kapakahi I tell you. I neva practice plenny. So I was winging it, partially at least. It was in Oklahoma. Probably the 1st time most of them have ever seen a “LIVE” hula. (wot, as oppose to makidiedead lol) So yes I danced. Or should I say “dinced.” You must say that wit an Okie accent. I’m sure people said “she did that huli dince, et was jusst purdy.”
You guys like me see me huli dance? Shuddup.
