In case anybody wanted some, so that sites using kahako and 'okina can be properly displayed, here is a page with TrueType Hawaiian fonts for both PC and Mac users.

Ah, Hale Kuamo`o. They do good stuff. They paved the way for the Apple Macintosh guys to get with the program at the OS level.

So far on my Power Mac G4 with OS X 10.2, only Text Edit supports the Hawaiian language. The many other apps I run do not. You can tell when an app supports a language set in OSX is when you select the little flag icon on the top menu bar... I have 2 options installed... American English and Hawaiian.

Needless to say, haven't used the Hawaiian yet. Of course I only upgraded to OSX 10.2 about 2 months ago....
